Course Outline

Course Introduction

Learning Reiki Advanced/Masters takes two days.  You will also have the chance to attend a number of Reiki 1 and 2 courses to observe and undertake teaching activities.  The course includes comprehensive training, an illustrated manual, certificate and on-going support and advice.  You will receive three attunements throughout the day that will open specific energy centres in the body and connect you to the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki energy.

Refreshments are provided and fresh water will always be available, although you are encouraged to make your own arrangements for lunch.  There are various shops and supermarkets located in the area that provide a wide range of food, including vegetarian options.  You are requested not to have any caffeine or nicotine throughout the weekend.

The course is informal and you are asked to wear comfortable clothing because you will receive a treatment as well as give one.  You are not required to bring anything with you since everything will be outlined in the manual handed out on the day, however, if you wish to make additional notes bring a pen and notepaper.

Course Pre-requisite:  Attendance on a Reiki II course is necessary before attending the Reiki Advanced/Master level.  There must be at least a 6 month gap between Reiki II and starting the Reiki Advanced/Masters course.

The Trainer

Helen Wilkins

Having accumulated several years of training experience (since 1996), Helen started training hard and soft skills around Europe for a large well-known corporate company.  She acquired her training skills through a number of recognised training bodies with her main qualifications coming from CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development).

During this time she became involved with Reiki and other therapies and developed a keen interest in how a person can 'help themselves' to keep and maintain a healthy lifestyle and attitude.

In 2002, she wanted to put this into practice and decided to set up her own training, specialising in alternative and complementary therapies.  Since she had already experienced the formal attitude of corporate training, she felt it was important to provide an informal training experience for the therapies; creating a happy, relaxed learning environment at her home and/or on location.

She also runs a company with her husband which specialise in harnessing the power of sound waves to induce meditational states passively – a method not currently found in music shops – which can also be accessed from her website here.

Besides providing training face to face and online, she also provides a free question and answer service specialising in Reiki.  You can find this service at:
