Do I always need to know why my client has come for a treatment?
Knowing this has no relevance to the effect of the energy. The energy will still go where it needs it the most on a physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual level. However, basic information may be useful if your client has a physical problem that may involve you deviating from your usual way of working, for example, they get pain from lying on their back too long even with knee supports.
