Developing psychic and intuitive abilities with Reiki

If I receive psychic or intuitive information on a client whilst giving them a treatment, should I pass it on?
It is not unusual for this situation to occur, since many Reiki practitioners report an increase in their psychic and intuitive awarenesses following their attunements. When giving a Reiki treatment your energy field will begin to blend with that of your client and as a consequence, you may pick up information or become sensitive to your client’s emotional well-being. Some clients would be extremely uncomfortable with you feeding back to them very personal or psychic information and may consider it an intrusion. Consequently, it is generally recommended that you respect your client’s privacy unless they ask you for such information. Remember the client has only asked for a Reiki treatment, not a reading.
