What giving a Reiki treatment, my client sees different colours - what does this mean? |

Every treatment will be different for clients. There are no fixed rules in terms of what they will or won't experience. You may be able to give them a generalisation but you may be in danger of stopping them from experiencing the treatment how they were supposed to by placing boundaries on what to expect. An important aspect, notion, fleeting thought, feeling, sensation, memory... may get dismissed that could prove to be what they needed from the treatment in order to heal in their own way.
I like to call this experience, "a pleasant side effect to Reiki". You are not necessarily required to understand what that colour means as a Reiki practitioner, so don't feel that you have to provide an answer. You may be able to suggest what they could be pointing to by referring to the chakra colours or by suggesting they see if they crop up in their everyday lives. Again though, this is not going to be a definitive answer because the colours may have a very specific meaning to the person or they may just be allowing the person's mind to relax. In conclusion, whatever their meaning may be, they are still very pretty to watch...especially whilst having a Reiki treatment!
