What are the Reiki Degrees?

Reiki I is the entry level. The student is attuned to Reiki energy for the healing of themselves, others, plants and animals.  The class can be one or two days long.  The class is designed for the student to have a basic understanding of how to give Reiki energy and are encouraged to practice and develop confidence in the technique and what they sense.  This course is all about the individual and how they start to embark on the Reiki Path and understand what Reiki is about.  Following the course, the student has then to go through a cleansing period for 21-28 days.

At Reiki II, the student is shown symbols (or keys) and may be shown meditation techniques to allow them to access the higher energies and direct them in a more focussed manner. Absent and distant healing is also taught at this level.  It is assumed at this level that the student is fully versed in Reiki 1 and how to do treatments so that this course may then build on that knowledge.  At the end of the course, the student goes away with methods that they may not have thought about before and are encouraged to practice and find other uses for the symbols.  This can be an exciting course to complete because it starts to open up new possibilities to the student.  Following the course, the student has then to go through a cleansing period for 21-28 days.

Reiki III, is the Reiki Master/Teacher, or advanced level, where more symbols and meditation techniques are covered to allow the student to access the highest energies, develop themselves and their use of the life force. The student is also taught the attunement processes for all 3 levels of Reiki and the principles of Reiki teaching.  This completes the Reiki Degree training and can be a very fulfilling experience, if you are willing to take the responsibility.  Following the course, the student has then to go through a cleansing period for 21-28 days.
