What is a Reiki Share? |

|
Reiki Shares or Reiki Energy Exchanges are a good way to maintain contact with other Reiki practitioners and to receive a Reiki treatment from someone else too! Reiki shares can take many forms from a group of people pairing up and giving treatments one to one or getting group treatments from more than one practitioner at a time. The benefit of having so many hands working on you at once is not only enjoyable, it also means that the energy channelled is amplified. There are no set rules on how to conduct a Reiki share and the group can be as large or as small as they like, meeting as often as once or twice a month. They may be held at a person's house or, if the group is large enough, at a community centre or hall with the price being split between members. The format of the share may take the form of a group meditation to start with. Distance healing could then be sent as a group to everyone that is nominated and then they may split into groups to give Reiki either one to one or as a group healing - everyone attending should receive a Reiki treatment during this period. Further exercises may be done at the end of the session to help to ground everyone before they leave. The main emphasis on the meetings though is to be relaxed and to enjoy sharing in the energy.
