I have heard of various different types of Reiki, what is the difference between them?

In essence, they all use the same energy for treatments.  Hand positions and techniques tend to change and there are either more or less methods that can be used.

Try not to be swayed by individuals that claim their method is far more superior to any other because it is up to the individual to decide which method suits them the best.  Research each of the types and then try to follow your instinct on which you would like to specialise on.
